Privacy Policy

Effective August 28, 2026

Oiika Inc. built Doodle Dodge as a game that can be played as a local guest. An optional Doodle World account adds Sign in with Apple on iPhone or Sign in with Google on Android, cloud progress, and public leaderboard features.

Information we collect

Doodle Dodge does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies, and Oiika Inc. does not sell personal information.

If you choose Continue with Apple or Continue with Google, that sign-in provider and our backend provider, Supabase, process the authentication request. The app does not request Apple name or email scopes, and uses the Google identity token only to create or restore the Doodle World account. Doodle World stores a provider-linked account identifier, a generated starter identity or optional player-authored public Doodler name, cloud game progress, and leaderboard submissions for app functionality.

Cloud game progress can include settings, best distance, stars, upgrades, unlocked items, achievements, goals, badges, and a capped history of your 100 most recent runs with score, distance, stars, combo, runner, page, PAL and time. This personal run history is visible only inside your game save. Separate leaderboard submissions can include your public Doodler name, score, distance, maximum combo, and achievement time. World Board names and leaderboard results are publicly readable. The Current board uses the current ruleset; where the All Time board is available, it can retain one best result per visible profile across earlier public rulesets.

If you choose a public Doodler name, the app normalizes it and checks its length, character shape, normalized uniqueness, reserved terms, contact-like patterns and blocked unsafe terms before publication. Names must be 3–20 characters. Automated screening reduces risk but cannot guarantee that every public name will be appropriate.

Players can immediately hide or block another World Board profile. Signed-in players can also report a displayed name for offensive content, impersonation, personal information or another concern. A report stores the reporter account, reported profile and name, selected reason, time and review status. A block stores the blocking account and blocked profile. Reports and block choices are private and are not displayed on the World Board. Oiika Inc. reviews reports through its monitored support process and may hide or suspend a profile from public boards.

Supabase, Apple, and Google may process technical request information needed to authenticate requests, secure the service, and keep it reliable. Doodle Dodge does not use this information for advertising or tracking.

Crash and reliability diagnostics

To investigate rare crashes, hangs, unexpected run interruptions, and serious game errors, Doodle Dodge sends a small, bounded operational diagnostic. It can include the app version and build, operating-system version, broad device class such as phone or tablet, current game screen, run phase, distance, score, active mechanic identifiers, entity count, network state, sanitized error summary, and recent in-game actions such as starting, pausing, or finishing a run.

The diagnostic does not include your Doodler name, Apple or Google account identifier, email address, authentication token, advertising identifier, donation activity, precise hardware model, or a raw Apple MetricKit stack trace. The app creates a random identifier that lasts only for the current launch. Supabase hashes that launch identifier before database storage. It cannot be used to restore a Doodle World account or follow play across future launches.

Apple MetricKit can provide counts of crashes, hangs, CPU exceptions, disk-write exceptions, and memory-pressure warnings after a later launch. Doodle Dodge retains diagnostic events for no more than 90 days and caps both event size and submission frequency. They are used only to maintain app functionality, not for advertising, tracking, engagement analytics, or player profiling.

Information stored on your device

Doodle Dodge stores game progress on your device, including settings, best distance, collected stars, upgrades, revive inventory, unlocked runner styles, your selected runner, and the capped recent-run history described above. It also keeps a short, capped diagnostic delivery queue and an active-run heartbeat so an interrupted run can be recognized on the next launch. Guest play remains available without signing in. If you use Doodle World, selected save data is also sent to Supabase so progress can be restored and synchronized.

Deleting the app normally deletes locally stored information, subject to your device's backup and restore behavior. Deleting the app does not by itself delete a Doodle World account.

Your choices and account deletion

You can sign out at any time from Pencil Case → World. Signing out creates a fresh local guest but keeps the cloud account available for a later sign-in with the same provider.

Where the app provides Change Doodler Name, you can claim an available 3–20-character public name. Existing World Board results display the current name attached to the same account. Do not use your real name, contact information or another person's identity. You can use the in-app controls to hide/block another profile immediately, undo a personal block where offered, or report a displayed name for review.

You can delete the Doodle World account in the app. Deletion requires reauthentication with Apple or Google, deletes the Supabase user, and removes the associated public name, cloud save, queued run records, leaderboard rows, reports made by the account, and personal block choices. Apple-linked deletion also revokes the Apple authorization used by Doodle World. Account deletion cannot be undone.

Public World Board results are removed when the associated account is deleted. Changing a Doodler name does not create a new account or remove earlier results.

If you no longer have the app, use the prominent Doodle World account-deletion request page to start a deletion request without reinstalling it.

Service providers

These providers process data to supply and secure the features described above under their applicable terms and privacy practices.

Device features

The game may use device haptics for optional vibration feedback and Apple MetricKit for native reliability signals. These features do not give us access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, or files.

SickKids fundraising link

Doodle Dodge includes an optional external link to a fundraising page hosted by SickKids Foundation. The app does not attach your Apple account identifier, Doodler name, gameplay information, or device identifier to that link. If you open it, SickKids Foundation receives the ordinary technical information associated with visiting its website and processes any information you choose to provide there under its own privacy practices. Oiika Inc. does not receive the payment details or donor information entered on that page.

Children's privacy

Doodle Dodge is not designed to request a child's real name, email address, or other direct contact information. The optional account uses Apple or Google authentication, and Apple name and email scopes are not requested. Because a Doodler name is public user-authored content, players are told not to use a real name or contact information. If you see personal information or another inappropriate name, hide it immediately and report it in the app, delete the associated Doodle World account if it is yours, or contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If the game's data practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date before releasing the affected version.
